Introduction
Tea with George is a conversation-led podcast spanning industries, guests, and unhurried questions. It needed a digital home that matched that tone and could be found by people who had never heard the show. DM Solutions led strategy, UX, and content direction; Creative Labs partnered with us to execute the Webflow build and on-page search work. The result: 40% more organic traffic, half again as many listener interactions, and an audience that started subscribing directly.
Great conversations nobody could find

- Visibility in a brutally crowded category. The show had the content but not the search footprint. Competitive podcast terms were going to rivals with weaker episodes and stronger technical foundations — and every listener acquired through a podcast app was a listener the show didn't own.
- Dynamic content that had to stay effortless. Episodes, guest profiles, and show updates needed to publish without a developer in the loop. That called for a properly modelled CMS rather than hand-built pages.
- Listeners who never became subscribers. Plenty of people were listening; far fewer signed up, shared, or came back directly. That gap was a UX problem before it was a marketing one — unclear paths, too many decisions, and calls to action placed away from where intent actually peaked.
Two teams, one plan
DM Solutions led strategy, information architecture, UI/UX Design, and content direction. Creative Labs partnered with us to execute — taking the Webflow Website Development and on-page search implementation against our specification.
Reviews ran jointly at every phase gate rather than as a handoff at the end, which meant design decisions were pressure-tested against build constraints while they were still cheap to change. The brief both teams worked to was single-minded: make the site the central hub for every episode, every guest, and every piece of exclusive content — and make it fast on a phone.
An audience that grew, engaged, and subscribed
- Listeners engaged more, and more often. Interactions rose 50% — more episodes opened, more content shared, more time spent on the site rather than bouncing straight back to a podcast app.
- Search started doing the work. SEO drove a 40% rise in organic traffic and an 18% lift in keyword rankings, establishing Tea with George as a destination in its own right.
- The experience stopped leaking people. A mobile-friendly, intuitive design cut bounce rates 35% and lifted overall sessions 30%.
- And the audience became an owned one. Newsletter sign-ups rose 25% — the clearest signal that listeners wanted a direct line to the show, not just a feed.

Discovery & Analysis
We started with the audience, not the design. Demographic analysis and competitive research told us what podcast listeners consistently want and rarely get: intuitive navigation, fast access to the full episode archive, and subscription options that don't require hunting.
Those findings shaped the content strategy — a plan for surfacing George's voice across the whole site rather than confining it to the player, and for giving returning listeners a reason to browse rather than bounce after one episode.
The Design
Our UI/UX Design team built the interface around clarity and accessibility. Wireframes and prototypes mapped the real journeys first — find an episode, learn about a guest, subscribe — before a single visual decision was made.
The visual design leaned minimalist, with a bold, modern palette drawn from the show's existing brand identity. Restraint was the point: the conversation is the draw, and the interface stays out of its way.

Development
Creative Labs executed the Webflow Website Development against our specification: a fast, scalable site with dynamic CMS collections for episodes and guests, an integrated podcast player, guest bio pages, and a dedicated newsletter page.
Technical SEO was built in rather than bolted on — clean heading structure, PodcastEpisode schema markup, sensible internal linking between episodes and guest profiles, and on-page optimization targeting terms like insightful podcast and industry expert interviews.

Testing & Launch
Usability testing ran across devices and browsers before launch, catching navigation and interaction issues while they were still cheap to fix. The site shipped with performance optimization as a release gate: fast load times, smooth interaction, and no regressions on mobile — the device most of this audience listens on.
